Oh Lord!

Dear Lord,
I am so acutely aware of my Daily Need of You.  To begin to Really Know, Really Get It, that you are here, every hour, every day... your presence is real and powerful when I begin to comprehend it.  I know I will never know all there is to know about you, but I know you are My God and that you genuinely and truly are worthy of all of my praise.

Day By Day

Taking this Life Day by Day is probably one of the most wise and challenging things we can do. Yet, Lord, Today is the Only Day we have. Yesterday is gone and we are not guarenteed tomorrow.  Today IS the DAY you have made.  I WILL choose to REJOICE TODAY, I want and I need to remind myself of this wisdom, every... single... day.

Thank you Lord for your Mercy and Kindness, for your Grace and Wisdom. For Leading me back to you, my eyes are turned to you Lord. Please continue to open my heart and hands to you daily, Please continue to gently but firmly remind me that Today is The Day I am to Live For You. Every Day.

Every Day is A New Day

Lord, I have not gone the last four days without prayer and praises to you, i Have simply failed to document them on this blog. 
Let me recap.
Thank you Lord for the gift of my family and of my friends. Thank you Lord for our physical, mental, emotional health. Thank you Lord for the Gift of Time that was given to so many of us who shared in great food, great laughter, and great love for you and each other. 
Please Lord, I ask that you continue to Bless each and every one of us with growing hearts and hands for others, Especially all of those less fortunate than ourselves. We do a good job of caring for each other, which is important, but many of us do not Need a great deal. Help us all to remember to have the courage and hearts to pray for and lift up all of the hungry, homeless, lost, hurt, abandoned, scared children of yours who maybe don't know you, or know you and just are not able to overcome their circumstances without the help of others. I pray you impress on all of our hearts this Christmas Season to recognize and act upon helping those in much greater need than us.

Committed to you

I have many times believed I could be committed to things or people of this world and have failed more often than not.  I want and need a committment to you to look like nothing I have ever "committed" to before.  You are like no other, you created me!  You created this life in which I live.  Only You know your plans for me and those around me, and all your children. I am committed to Trusting in You whole-heartedly, Knowing You have taken such amazing care of me for the last 29 years and plan to do so until I am with you in Heaven.  Thank you Lord for your guidance and never ending care and Love. 

1 Peter 1:1-12

Here is a wonderful verse I read last night as part of my daily Faithwalkers read.
"Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His Great Mercy he has given us New Birth into a living hope through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time."

I will rejoice and be Glad and Sing, and I won't worry about tomorrow, I'm trusting in what you say, today is a NEW DAY! :)
Thank you Lord for Every New Day and the Grace and Peace in which you DO provide in Abundance.

You are a New Day

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for a day full of blessings yesterday. Always a God filled time with Matt and Leah and beautiful baby Eve!  Thank you Lord for their Love for you and for their sisters in Christ that were gathered around their dinner table yesterday morning. I want to lift each and everyone of them up today, including their families, all those beautiful and smart children that are in their care. Lord, I pray that your light shines through them, that they feel your presence daily and grow in Faith and Love for you first and foremost. My Cup Overfloweth.
Thank you Lord, also, for last night, my sister is such an amazing and strong woman who has a passion for singing and shares that gift with others. I was very blessed to be able to attend her concert last night. Great director and song selection.

Heavenly Father

Thank you for a beautiful sun filled morning. I pray that this day brings you all the Glory and Honor you deserve. Thank you for seeing me through this week, keeping me going with your Love and Guidance. Thank you for holding my hand through the tough spots. Thank you for humbling me and opening my eyes to the suffering all around me. I pray I continue to be strengthened by Your Word and Your Light!
