I pray that I never do stop thanking you, Lord, for every blessing you've poured out.
You truly have sustained me through the trials, and shown me Joy in my sorrows.

Life

Life is not always gravy
Turkey and stuffing too,

Be near oh God, Be near

To sit in silence, simply breathing, clearing my mind of all thoughts... is not a simple thing to do these days.  As a child I had such an ability to sit in your presence, empty minded and open hearted. Lord, I pray that my childlike ways return and stay because i know the power that came with dwelling in your peaceful presence.

In The Grip of Grace

What if God says "I've given you my grace, and that is enough".
To be content with that is to have a peaceful heart.

Lord, I pray that I continue to grow in Peace. Be Peaceful. Be Patient. Be Powerful. Be Pleased. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I desire Peace in you alone. Contentment with you and your Grace.

Ephesians 3:20-21

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen"

Upon arrival into my cruise ship room, I was blessed to discover a small book "Music Boat, Beyond our Imagination" Daily devotional for the week. My heart Leapt for Joy at discovering the exact verse above was on the cover of the book!!  God TRULY leads us to the perfect places. Am so grateful to have a sturdy foundation in God and His unchangeable word through Central Lutheran. And the fact that we are in the midst of our Ephesians bible study AND that Sonja had challenged us to speak Ephesians 3:14-21 daily for one month (about 3 weeks ago now) is TRULY your handiwork Lord!!

Day 1: A story of Courage, and being Champions for Christ. AMEN!! 
I don't know how many people I met before, during and after the cruise have told me how 'brave' and 'courageous' I was to take this trip alone. Ah, But then there were the wise words of Paul Young, you are always traveling in a group of four, "Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and you"  AMEN!!

And That was just day one!

Beyond our Imagination!!

Wouldn't you know it, well of course YOU would know it, you are God!! All powerful, all knowing, all loving God, whom I have spent far too many years doubting and hiding from. Your Mercies leave us forever unworthy yet eternally grateful.
But for those of us mere mortals who are NOT you, let me attempt to recap the One Year Anniversary week of my Year Long Commitment to Christ as my husband and I, as his bride.
Where do I start, Mary Toso was so gracious and wonderfully able and willing to drive me to the airport at 5:30 in the a.m. on Monday. She even packed me a little goodie bag, filled with some healthy snacks and airborne! smart thinking. She got me to the airport with plenty of time to spare, I made my way through security with ease, then it was off to Miami.  I don't believe I have ever hailed a cab alone before, but was made very easy by the airlines AND I know i saved money and time going that route versus the shuttle they offered. My cab driver Jean was wonderful, he began our drive with some light hearted laughter when he asked me if I was allergic to music and if i was not if it would be alright to put the radio on. I giggled and said, please do!  The song that was playing and half way through... On the Wings of Love, only the two of us, together flying high, together flying on the wings of love"
i giggled. Then it was "May you grow to be kind, dignified and true and do onto others as you'd have done to you, be courageous and be brave, in my heart you'll always stay, forever young"
and THAT my friends was only the beginning.
Thank you Lord for all of the blessings this past week and for todays blessings as well.
Was nice to spend the day with my parents and Lisa and Aaron, Cerisa and Noel.

Your Mercies are new every morning

Lord, I have never prayed for protection over my finances, but I need to now. Please Lord, I ask that you work in the mysterious and wonderous ways that i know you always do, and keep my finances safe from any misstep I may have made.
Lord, I look forward to spending time with you on an earthly paradise very soon. And long to spend eternal time with you in Heaven someday. Thank you Lord for the gift of life on earth, may I continue to follow your will and your son, Jesus Christ.

How About Them Apples!!!

Lord, I just want to Praise you for allowing me to be your hand and feet and allowing me to be a witness of such a wonderfully big little miracle last night.
Romans 13:8

Year of Discernment

With a Grateful Heart, Lord, I want to acknowledge the abundant ways you have poured out your Mercy and Love to me in my life. Mercy and Love that I only began to fully recognize 4 short years ago.
Thank you Lord for leading me to Central Lutheran Church. Thank you Lord for aligning me with their Faith Walk. For creating in me this year of discernment just like our church, bonding me even more to this family of believers and even more to you. Thank you Lord for all of your beautiful and faithful servants which have blessed my path and helped to sincerely strengthen my faith in you and your will. Lord, I pray that my heart continues to remain open and ready to serve you around every corner.
Amen.

Amazing Love!

How can it be? That you my king would die for me!

Thank you Lord for your AMazing and Abundant Love. A Love truly far greater than I even have the eyes to see. Thank You Lord for Your daily Mercies and Grace. I pray that all of Grace's family and friends are safe in your arms and in your care. I pray that you Lord are with Grace every step of her journey, I pray that she has nothing but a joyful experience at her dads.
