Dear Lord,
Today I Pray for My Faith Walk in 2011. I Pray I am ever more daily committed to growing in Love for you.  You are My Rock and My Salvation. All that I have is In You and From You.  Thank you for ALL of the daily blessings you have given.  Thank you for always being there through my struggles too.  Leaning on you has been what keeps me going. Leaning on you keeps me believing that YOU know your will for me, and that this is ALL part of your crazy and WONDERFUL plan.  My Hope is in You Lord, My Trust Is In You!

Better than a Hallelujah sometimes

I cry Out to you Oh Lord.
I need you.
I need you to guide me, Help me to remind me that you are ALWAYS near me. NEVER will you leave me and I am grateful for that, because Lord I KNOW i can't do this alone.
We pour out our miseries, God just hears a melody, beautiful the mess we are. Honest cries and breaking hearts... are better than a Hallelujah sometimes.

Thank you Lord for the Gift of your presence on Christmas Day and Every Day.

Tonight My daughter wanted to read a story from the bible all by herself.  She can't actually read yet, but I do encourage her to try. However, when I try to help her spell out words, she looks straight into my eyes with a serious grimace and says "I CAN read it, I WILL read it" 
She picked a story tonight and I began to listen, the first thing she uttered "There was a woman of God and a little white bunny" It sent a chill up my spine and a warmth in my heart all at the same time. God has blessed us with a bunny in our neighborhood, he always wanders very close to my bedroom window, many times throughout this year I have peeked out the curtain to see him staring in at us. SO peaceful and SO beautiful and I DO believe it is Emmanuel. God With US.

Unending Mercy and Love

Thank you Lord for your unending Mercy and Love.  Thank you for showing me the path to Life. Eternal Life with you. I will continue to Praise Your Name!!  I Love you and cannot wait until we celebrate the birth of Your Son Jesus!! Amena!!

single moms

Dear Lord,
Tonight I just want to lift up all of the single moms I know, and those I don't know. Lord Please Keep them safe in your loving arms of care.  Please give them Peace through their trials and fears. Please be with them every step of the way.
Lord, Please continue to help me to understand your will for my life.

You continue Lord, to pour out your blessings.
Thank you Lord for getting Grace and I through yesterday. I am acutely aware of how blessed we are that Grace and I have our health, and that we have only ever had minor sicknesses here and there.  I struggled at times yesterday to give her my full patience and attention, Lord, but Thank You for your Mercy on Me as I continue to grow in those areas.

Committed to you

This is a great test of my ability (or lack there of) to staying committed to you, oh Lord. 
I want to know you more, I want growing in knowledge of you to be a priority in my life.  Help me to overcome my doubts, my struggles. Help me to see that you are SO much more than this World has to offer. Help me to also recognize those in this world who are striving to live for you as well.  There lives lend themselves to my journey, providing great encouragement.

2 Corinthians 4:11

We who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

I die to myself every day.  I have to.  I have a 3 year old.  It's not always easy, there are times where I feel as though I Never have time that is all my own, I Never have time to do Exactly what it is that I want or even get things done that i think i Need to do! In the times I begin to lose my patience, it is then that I remind myself of the greatest sacrificial love there was.  Jesus was nailed to a cross, for us.  For My Sins.  I carry my cross for you, Oh Lord. Thy Will Be Done.

Tonight

As I was getting my daughter to bed she, out of the blue, started singing. "Our God is Greater, Our God is Stronger, God you are Higher than any other..."  (repeat)  I know they listen to KTIS at little lambs, it was just really cool to hear another great song spouted randomly by her own choosing.

Makes me believe i'm doing at least one thing right.  Lord continue to help me see the ways I am living for you, and the impact it has on those around me. Please strengthen my desire to live for you Every Single Day.

I don't want to gain the whole world and lose my soul

I need help Lord to continue to better understand your will for me.  I don't want to lose my soul. Help me to see a much clearer picture of what you want for Grace and I. Trusting in you to lead us to what you have in store for us, the Best.

Tired but ever Grateful

Thank you Lord for seeing me through every day.  Thank you for your Grace and Mercy. Your Love and Kindness.  Your Patience with me. 
Thank you for the countless miracles you bless us all with.

God is God and I am not

I need to trust in You, Lord, Whole-Heartedly, that you are working in the lives of not only me, but All my christian friends and family members. 
I am not you, Lord, I can only strive to be like you by constantly seeking your Word and Your Face. 
And surround myself with those who do the same.

Christian or a Christ Follower?

I am learning the significant difference between calling yourself a Christian in this world and calling yourself a Christ Follower.
It seems that maybe it happens in steps for some of us, and sadly for others, calling themselves "christian" is the only step to salvation. Saying they are christian and that they believe in Jesus. period. ends there.
As I have picked up my cross as a growing Christ follower the last 3 years specifically, I have learned that it happens in steps(at least for me), in strides. We are ALL sinners, full of our own sets of sinful ways.  But when we make a personal commitment to Christ and learning His Word, His Promise and His Way, we truly DO walk in and with the Spirit and the Spirit not only eliminates the sins we once wore, but also moves us into the realm of Christ Likeness. To BE like Christ. When I think of this, I think of the simple and straight forward verse. God Is Love.  And Love is Patient.  Kind. Does Not Boast. Does Not Envy. Is Not Jealous. Bears All Things. Hopes All Things. Love Never Ends. (my bible is at my table, I will quote more accurately tomorrow)
Thank you Lord for Your Word and For the Life I am learning to Love, Living In The Spirit.

Better is One Day in your House

Lord, May I never lose this fervor in Thanking You with sincerest gratitude and heartfelt notion. Thank you for Jan and John and their amazing grace to host such wonderful Advent Dinners and to include us! I am so grateful that they (and Leah) extended their hands to Jenny today.  She needs to feel that same outpouring of Love that I have felt through your faithful servants of Central Lutheran.  So blessed beyond measure to be encouraged by their acts of kindness.

I pray we make it to the gathering tonight for more fellowship and to continue to Praise and Honor You today!! and everyday.

Love the Lord Your God with ALL your Heart, with All your Mind and with All your Strength. I will Love you!

Thank you Lord for the Blessings you have been pouring out on Mandi and Eric and Baby Zoey.  I pray that you continue to strengthen this family with YOUR LOVE. May they know you are AWESOME and POWERFUL, WONDERFUL and In Control.  You are to be praised for this Miracle. 

Thank you Lord for a night filled with fellowship with women of Central, especially my date ;)
Tom Hegg was very enjoyable to listen to, and his stories were encouraging and entertaining. It was a blessing for me to enjoy a night out, and even greater blessing to discover Grace was in such good hands!

I Praise You Lord for ALL of the Wonderous things you do, may I never stop noticing and praising you for them. AMENA.

Last NIght and Tonight

Last night I was blessed as always to sit with Joni P., and the other beautiful and strong single moms and be nourished with scripture and God's Will for us all.  Last night we discussed purpose and what Our purposes are. What is truly important to us. When we know that God will surely use it to lead us and grow us into stronger, more passionate women.  God you are an awesome God, you have blessed me beyond measure through the people I have met and come to know and love, please continue to strengthen these relationships as i so desperately grow closer to you.

Tonight... Well, i hope to write more tonight, after my date with Lena!!!  :) More to come on the blessings of beautiful women in my life...

there by the grace

Thank you Lord for your never ending mercy and grace.  You provide for me in abundance, not only in food and shelter and clothing, but in Love and Trust and Hope.  You provide daily miracles big and small to all of us and for that I am eternally grateful.  Please continue to draw me closer to you as I wish to remain open to Your Will and Wait with Joy and Hope.
